Arrived at STL airport without any problems. Met Train and we caught the metrolink (tram) and then the metro (bus) to his apartment and rented a dvd (Spirited Away) which we watched after having dinner (macaroni cheese). His apartment is really warm; and the heating wasn't even turned on! We knitted for awhile after that, and just chatted and things. This was all between around 11pm and 5am local time in St Louis.
At a bit after 5am, we went for a walk to 7-eleven (24 hour gas station/convenience store) and then to the shopNsave (supermarket) to pick up some instant coffee and ended up getting a few other things too which we needed. We arrived at the store 1 minute after it opened :P
It is really cold outside here, and my hands were freezing. I should have put gloves on before I left. My jacket is really warm though :D
Right at this second it is 8:26am and we're making plans for things to do today- I've been updating my blog and we're going to figure out some recipes to use up the potatoes and onions and carrots. Any suggestions you might have are welcome! Just comment on this blog or whatever. I'm going to find a cellphone today too.
I have a lot of movies to watch and a lot of books to read. I'll put up some photos later, the batteries are on the charger currently.
