Day Three

Today was a pretty good day.
Train and I went out for brunch to a nice wee cafe near Tower Grove Park which is about a mile and a half away. We caught the bus and walked a bit too.

It's too easy to spend money over here, so for the next few days I'm not going to spend any at all.
While we were walking around in Tower Grove Park after having sat down for brunch, we saw a squirrel! It was a little grey one, and really cute. It ran too fast for me to get a picture, but I'm sure I'll see some more at some point and will take one then :)

After hanging out in the cold at the park for awhile, we headed back the way we came and walked to the St Louis library. Train's going to join it tomorrow- we found a really good recipe book that we want to try making some things from. Most of the afternoon was gone by the time we had left the library- and we decided to pick up a pizza on the way home. A medium pizza (same as a large in NZ) from Pizza Hut cost $14.50 after tax and things D:
That's like, $26.70 in NZD just for one pizza! Wont be doing that any time again soon. Nonetheless it was very tasty and filled the gap.

We watched the movie Mirrormask while eating dinner, (which we had really early tonight- about 6pm) and after the movie we did the dishes and decided to bake some cookies. They're oatmeal scotchies- which are cookies with rolled oats and butterscotch flavoured chocolate chip things. They're reaaaaallllyyyy yummy :D

I'm really tired at the moment, so I might get an early night. We started doing a 500 piece puzzle last night- it's scattered all over the lounge floor :P
My back is sort of sore and I'm half falling asleep already- it's only 9pm!
